Swan River trails

Located just six kilometres to the east of Perth's CBD, the Swan River encompasses the communities of Bassendean, Bayswater and Belmont and boasts over 28 kilometres of river foreshore.

The local walk trails and cycle trails are a great way to discover the nearby heritage buildings, and make for a great day out along the Swan River foreshore.

Alternatively, take your bike on the train - Cycle Perth's Eastern Region links a number of bike rides connecting from train stations along the Midland Rail Line to local towns, heritage attractions and foreshore parks.

Walkers can stroll along the Swan River foreshore, past riverside parks and wetland sanctuary reserves along the Bassendean Wicked Walks.

Local heritage attractions including the Pensioner Guard Cottage and Halliday House are located within easy reach of the Swan River foreshore and can be discovered by bicycle or car on the Swan River Heritage Trail.

Search trails page for walk, cycle and drive trails in the Swan River location and discover the scenic river foreshores and art and heritage attractions from a new perspective.
